Dr. Nikki Stanford lives in Sulphur, LA and has been teaching for six years. She is currently teaching third and fifth grade ELA. She has also taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, and first grade autism classes, and fifth grade Social Studies. Her teacher certifications include special education, all subjects in first through fifth grades, computer literacy, and agriscience for sixth through twelfth grades.
Before becoming a teacher, Dr. Stanford worked with children age birth through eighteen in different roles from mentor and tutor to case manager, mental health professional, and life skills teacher. In addition to teacher certification, Dr. Stanford has a master's degree in psychology and recently completed her Doctor of Education degree in Educational Psychology and Technology.
She is excited about working with students in SWLA to refine their reading and writing skills and become more confident and successful in their education and every other part of their lives!
